ÉclaireSkin is a skincare guide, not a data business. We built this for people who want a moment of self-care — not another app collecting information about them. Here's exactly what we do and don't do with your data.
Everything you enter in the app — your skin quiz, analysis results, and routine — stays on your device. We don't store it on our servers. We can't see it. When you clear your browser, it's gone.
If you join our waitlist or sign up for updates, we store your email address to send you news about ÉclaireSkin. That's it. We don't sell it, share it, or use it for anything else. You can ask us to remove it any time by emailing hello@eclaireskin.com.
ÉclaireSkin uses Claude AI (by Anthropic) to generate your personalised recommendations. When you use the app, your inputs are sent to Anthropic's API to produce a response. Anthropic's own privacy policy applies to that processing.
We use Google Analytics and Vercel Analytics to understand how people find and use ÉclaireSkin. This includes general usage patterns, pages visited, and approximate location (country/region level). No personally identifiable information is collected through analytics. You can opt out of Google Analytics across the web using Google's opt-out tool.
ÉclaireSkin is a personal guide, not a medical tool. Our recommendations are generated by AI and are for informational purposes only. For skin conditions or health concerns, please consult a qualified dermatologist or healthcare professional.
Under New Zealand's Privacy Act 2020, you have the right to access any personal information we hold about you, and to ask us to correct or delete it. Email us at hello@eclaireskin.com — we'll respond within 20 working days.
If we ever change how we handle data, we'll update this page with a new date at the top. We'll notify waitlist subscribers by email for any significant changes.
